ONYINYECHI holds a B.SC in Environmental Protection and Resource Management from the University of Calabar.
She serves as a programmes officer in ALIVE’s Environmental and Livelihoods Unit. Prior to her joining ALIVE, she has worked in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector both as a mid-level and senior staff.
Onyinyechi is motivated by the pursuit of knowledge and has a passion that drives her to take an active interest in addressing rights violations.
She is greatly inspired by the work ALIVE does and she actively identifies with initiatives that promote and protect the rights of vulnerable groups. Onyinyechi prepares monthly and quarterly reports on ALIVE’s programmes /Activities and has demonstrated skills in programme facilitation and coordination.
Onyinyechi co-facilitates ALIVE’S “Violence Free Space” (VFS) project in collaboration with Gender Advocacy Network (GANET). The VFS is a Counselling and Information Unit for women victims of violence.
