The Team
ODI holds a B.SC in Finance and Banking and an M.BA in Finance from the University of Nsuka Nigeria. Odi’s work experience covers the banking sector. She has worked with Regent bank, IBTC Chartered bank, IBTC Pension, Managers and as a Finance Officer for Cordaid in its Nigeria office. She is ALIVE’s Finance and Administrative Officer.
Her work in ALIVE includes preparing regular financial reports and reconciliations. She prepares budgets and tracks programme expenses to ensure that programme activities remain within approved budget limits.
Odi has experience in implementing Organization and Development Programmes funded by bilateral and multilateral donors having worked for Cordaid, an International Organization based in the Netherlands. She has ability to communicate skills and experience to others as a financial trainer, advisor and consultant.
Odi also offers technical assistance to the Programmes Unit of ALIVE.

DEBORAH EFFIONGDEBORAH EFFIONG holds an LL.B and B.L degrees in Law and M.SC in Peace and Conflict Studies. Deborah is the Executive Director of Arise for Gender and Livelihoods Initiative (ALIVE). She anchors and manages the grant-making Portfolio of the organization. She also serves as the National Coordinator of Gender Advocacy Network (GANET), a regional network of women’s rights groups with a focus on building partnership that connects Women and Girls.
