Christie currently serves as the Deputy Director of ALIVE. Christie has recorded a vast work experience with the Aviation Industry prior to her joining ALIVE. Her Work Experience spans over 25 years and she has received high-level professional trainings covering critical areas of Safety, Staff management and Work ethics.
She is currently studying for a degree in Political Administration.
Her decision to join ALIVE is borne out of her passion to contribute towards addressing social injustices manifested in so many human rights violations in the Niger Delta.
Having served in a managerial capacity in her previous employment with Aero Contractors Nigeria, she has a firm understanding of the principles and practices involved in the effective management of staff and office processes.
Christie’s engagement with ALIVE has provided her with a growing knowledge of issues of Human Rights and a demonstrated passion for addressing Rights violations. She oversees ALIVE’s administrative portfolio.
She currently Oversees ALIVE’s Violence Free Space (VFS) Project in collaboration with the Gender Advocacy Network (GANET), a safe space designed to offer shelter for women confronted with Gender Based Violence (GBV).
Christie is highly creative, possesses a demonstrated drive for excellence and has the capacity to think strategically.
