ALIVE seeks to devise creative ways to partner with diverse and wide-ranging stakeholders particularly the NGOs, CSOs, Government, Local Communities, Private Sector and International Development Partners to provide appropriate responses to violations of Human Rights. Our activities are entirely people driven and we use participatory development methods as a multi-sectoral strategy in our work approach.
Our Strategies involves Research and Documentation, Needs Assessment, FGD (Focused Group Discussions), Advocacy Campaigns, Policy Dialogue, Baseline Studies, Publications, Environmental Impact Assessment, Mapping, Advocacy and Capacity Building Training.
We believe that every life is sacrosanct and that everyone has a right to life and therefore we uphold the ‘rule of law’ as a key tenet and principle.
We also see the whole society as a web with a weave of brotherhood. Anything that goes wrong with the web affects all.

Our work is centred on Lobbying, Advocating and Campaigning for Good Governance and Public Sector Reforms, Transparency and Accountability in Government. ALIVE has been involved in debates and Platform Discussions to create spaces for gender inclusion and engagements. ALIVE has also been in the forefront of Coordinating Advocacy Campaigns and Lobbying processes to push for gender-sensitive legislation such as Affirmative Active Bill (A.A) and Violence Against Persons (VAPP) Bill at the National and State Levels in collaboration with the STATE Ministry of Women Affairs, several groups/agencies and women focussed networks.
