Its a day set aside by the United Nations (UN) to raise awareness about the environment with a focus on issues of Global Warming, Ozone depletion, Climate Change, Forests Conservation, Marine Pollution and the Preservation of Aquatic and Terrestrial Life and several other Environmental challenges and Occurrences.</p> <p>This year's theme revolves around Time for Nature  “Celebrating Biodiversity”. “With 1 million species facing extinction. SACE is a governance project funded by USAID to support civil society to advocate for reforms that improve transparency and accountability in Nigeria. The project works with 16 Core Partners in Cluster and Collaborated initiatives.</p> <p>The NNEW Initiative is promoting an Enabling Business Environment in the Informal sector.</p> <p>NNEW is interested in addressing Harassment of Women in their business places confronted with multiple tax and levies payment.</p> <p><img src="https://ariseforgender.org.ng/images/usaid3.jpg" /></p><p>ALIVE is a core cluster working with NNEW on a SACE Project.
